FAQs

  • We offer two main ways to work with us: Membership (online studio access with classes, workshops, and resources) and Coaching Programs (personalized support, accountability, and guidance). Members get discounts on all coaching programs, as well as future retreats, trainings, and certifications.

  • Access to live classes, an on-demand library, workshops, and a resource library with guides and tools. Everything you need to build a sustainable movement practice that works with your body, not against it.

  • Membership gives you access to classes and resources—it's self-guided movement and education. Coaching is personalized one-on-one or group support with formal tracking, accountability, and customized guidance for your specific goals and challenges.

  • Membership is a recurring monthly or annual subscription. Coaching programs vary—some are one-time packages, others are ongoing. You can cancel membership anytime, and your access continues through the end of your billing period.

Getting Started & What's Available

  • Nope. Members get access to both live classes and an on-demand library. Show up live when it works, or catch the replay later. Your schedule doesn't have to be perfect for this to work.

  • Nothing happens. There's no falling behind or catching up—just pick up when you're ready. Consistency doesn't mean perfect attendance. It means coming back, even after gaps.

  • We offer a mix—15-minute classes when you're short on time, 30-45 minute sessions when you have more space. Choose what fits your day, not what you think you "should" do.

  • We organize classes by energy type—Sweaty (high-energy vinyasa), Strong (strength-building), Soulful (intuitive flow), and Soft (restorative). Choose based on how you feel today, where you are in your cycle, or what your body is asking for. Over time, you'll learn your patterns. There's no wrong choice.

Time, Scheduling & Flexibility

Is This Right for Me?

  • Absolutely not. Our classes are designed for real bodies at any fitness level. Modifications are offered in every session, and we encourage using what you have—props or household items. Check out our free "7 Days to Start Yoga" (can we link here?) guide for beginner-friendly options.

  • No. We assume you're starting from scratch and explain everything—what props do, how to warm up safely, what poses are for. No mystery language. No assuming you already know. Just clear instruction that meets you where you are.

  • Our approach is cycle-aware and honors fluctuating energy, which works whether you're menstruating, in perimenopause, or navigating health challenges. That said, membership is general education and classes. If you need personalized support for specific health concerns, coaching might be a better fit. We can also work alongside your medical team.

  • Research shows that mindfulness-based movement, strength work, and nervous system regulation can help reduce PMS symptoms like cramps, fatigue, and mood swings. The key is finding what works for your body and being consistent—not perfect. Our cycle-aware approach helps you match movement to where you are in your cycle, so you're not forcing routines that make symptoms worse.

  • We pull from multiple movement modalities—yoga asana, strength training, and pilates—and adapt them for women's physiology. Traditional programs ignore hormones and cycles entirely. We don't. You get movement that responds to how your body actually works, not generic flows designed for male bodies.

  • Yes. We use evidence-based practices rooted in women's health research, nervous system regulation, and functional nutrition. Everything is informed by NBHWC-approved coaching training, advanced yoga education (ERYT 500), and postgraduate work in global health policy specializing in perimenopause and women's physiology.

  • National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching certification. It's an evidence-based coaching credential focused on behavior change, goal-setting, and sustainable wellness—not quick fixes or one-size-fits-all plans.

What Makes This Different

  • There's no universal timeline because we're not chasing "results"—we're helping you feel more like yourself and understand your body. With regular practice, most people notice shifts in energy, body awareness, or how they respond to stress within a few weeks. But this isn't about before-and-afters. It's about building a practice that sticks.

  • Better understanding of your body's patterns. More consistent movement without the guilt spiral. Relief from tension, stress, or PMS symptoms. Feeling more capable and less fragile. The outcomes aren't about transformation—they're about finally working with your body instead of against it.

  • Membership is self-guided, so tracking is up to you. If you want formal tracking tools, personalized check-ins, and accountability, that's available through our coaching programs.

  • No pressure. Membership is designed for real life—messy, inconsistent, and imperfect. If sticking with things has been a struggle, that's exactly why we offer coaching programs focused on behavior change and unblocking the barriers that keep you starting and stopping. You're not broken. You just haven't had support that actually addresses why consistency is hard.

Credentials & Trust

  • Right now, it's just me—Kat. I'm an ERYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), NBHWC-approved health and wellness coach, and hold a postgraduate degree in Global Health Policy with specialization in functional nutrition and perimenopause. As we grow, any instructors brought on will have equivalent training in women's health and evidence-based practices.

  • Everything is rooted in current research on women's physiology, nervous system regulation, and functional health. We stay updated through continuing education, peer-reviewed research, and collaboration with other health professionals. If something isn't backed by evidence, we won't teach it.

  • Absolutely. This isn't one-size-fits-all, and most people benefit from a well-rounded approach. Our movement practices can complement strength training, running, therapy, or whatever else you're doing. We're here to support your whole routine, not replace it.

  • Yes. Within coaching, we can refer out to medical professionals and work alongside your clinical or alternative medicine team. I believe in a whole-health, whole-life approach—and that means collaborating with the providers who know your full picture.
